Working as a counsellor, supervisor and trainer in organizational settings, NHS primary health care settings and for mental health charities since 1997. In private practice since 2004. Over 8 years as Senior Counsellor for Drugsline with clients and families affected by drugs, alcohol and other addictive behaviours. Working with 12 step programme. Worked with perpetrators of violence at the Violence Initiative in North London. Working with EAPs (Employment Assistance Progammes) since 2007 for clients being referred by their employers for counselling. Working with insurance companies, solicitors and intermediaries to counsel clients as a result of RTAs presenting with post traumatic stress disorder. Working as a registered health care provider for a number of private patient plans and receiving referrals direct or via GPs, or other health service professionals. I supervise other counsellors working within Probation Service, NTA/FDAP drug treatment agencies and other mental health settings and charities. As an independent mediator for companies, corporations and unions, particularly in regard to grievance procedures involving bullying, harassment and discrimination.
